Fed: SA govt to approve Mitsubishi assistance package

Beleaguered car maker Mitsubishi is reportedly on the verge of sealing a multi-million
dollar assistance package from the South Australian government.

The Australian newspaper says the package, ahead of a crucial assessment of Mitsubishi's
future, is set to take the form of a low or no interest long-term loan to upgrade the
carmaker's Adelaide assembly line.
