VIC: Aborigines armed with spears to confront loggers

A traditional hunting party of about 20 Aborigines armed with spears is set to confront
loggers in a Victorian state forest.

Spokeswoman SANDRA ONUS says the hunting party set out about noon for the COBBOBOONEE
forest, near Portland, and are planning to march to a logging coupe.

She says the party intends to try to stop the logging although no violence is planned.
